Cap the Gap does exactly what its title implies -we work to fill in the large GAP between being a foster child and being part of one’s own family. While living in foster care, the State provides only the basic needs of food, clothing, medical care and shelter. These children have so many other needs that are not met or even addressed. As a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, our goal is to assist foster children so they may reach their full potential while promoting self-esteem, emotional stability, and overall well-being.
